The border of Cambodia since it independance is protected by Geneva Agreements  on 1954 and the Paris Peace Agreement on 1991.

The Cambodia-Laos border was defined by decree of General Governor of Indochine on 1901, 1903 and on 1905. It mesure up about 540 Km. The boundary mark in wood was destroyed.  The intangibility of the border asserts oneself to find and  to put its back
