THE BORDER OF CAMBODIA IS AGAIN IN DANGER

The border of Cambodia since it independance is protected by Geneva Conference on 1954 and the Paris Peace Agreement on 1991.

This permits Cambodia to demarcate the limite of it continental shelf according the international laws on the sea specialy the Sea Convention on 1982

The continental shelf of Cambodia was demarcated in 1969 according of :
- 1907 Franco-Siamois Treaty who has demarcaded the land  and maritim border betwen Cambodia and Thailand
- The General Governor Brevié lettre who has confirm the fact of  belonging of Koh Tral (island Tral) to Cambodia.
- The Cambodia mining laws on 1968
.
- The Geneva Convention on 1958 on the sea laws .


 

The Continental shelf of Cambodia according the Royal Kret 77/70CE on 1970 and the Kret on 1972 have the surface of  95.000 Km2.

This surface was attached with the petroleum search licence admits by the Royal Government  to the French Company ELF-ERAP signed on 22/11/1969

This surface was used in the official maps of the Popular Republic of Kampuchea in the petroleum search licence in 1982.
